BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute, with a concentration in painting, with minors in Drawing and Design 1985
Teaching Experience
Crossroads School - St. Louis, MO August 1989 - August 2006
Seventeen years of developing curriculum and teaching a variety of art classes to grades 7-12, which include: Drawing, Painting, 2 Dimensional Design, 3 Dimensional Design, Ceramics, Sculpture, Photography, A.P. Art Studio, Art Explore, Humanitas (art), Airbrush, Yearbook and Illustration. Developed and taught conflict resolution classes to the Middle School. In 1992, re-created the Art Department, which evolved into one of the most highly accredited and most widely respected art programs in St. Louis. Since 1990, donated time and skills as an artist and photographer to nearly every school publication. Continuously volunteered for committees and extracurricular activities whenever needed.
